PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive traveling vehicle for work, capable of largely reducing manufacturing cost, repairing cost and maintenance cost, while performing at least either of excavation work and carrying work with a simple structure. SOLUTION: This traveling vehicle 1 comprises two crawler type traveling devices 4 and 4, a base 5 for supporting both crawler type traveling devices 4 and 4, an engine 6 of both crawler type traveling devices 4 and 4 arranged on the base 5, a generator 7, a driving operation device 8, and a seat 9. A frame body 10 is detachably installed in the traveling vehicle 1 for supporting at least either an excavator 50 or a loading space 60 driven by a wrapping connector drive. An upright column 12b as a revolving shaft of the excavator 50 is rotatably arranged in the frame body 10. The wrapping connector drive is composed of motive power of a drill 36, manual chain blocks 20a and 20b, and a transmission sprocket 26 of the minimum gear number.
