PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cold rolled steel sheet for 2-piece can by which can manufacturing can be done in high yield. SOLUTION: The cold rolled steel sheet for 2-piece can has a composition consisting of, by mass,≤0.02% C,≤0.10% Si, 0.1 to 1.5% Mn,≤0.02% P,≤0.020% S,≤0.150% Al,≤0.0050% N, further one or more kinds selected from among, as a first group, 0.003 to 0.030% Nb, 0.003 to 0.020% Ti and≤0.0050% B and, as a second group,≤0.2% Cu,≤0.2% Ni,≤0.2% Cr and≤0.2% Mo, and the balance Fe with inevitable impurities. Moreover, in the steel sheet, the r-value in each direction of sheet surface satisfies the relation in inequality (r<SB>60</SB>+r<SB>120</SB>)/2+(r<SB>30</SB>+r<SB>330</SB>)/2≥(r<SB>30</SB>+r<SB>60</SB>).
