PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid level detector for securing a large liquid storage space in a liquid storage tank by miniaturizing the non-contact-type liquid level detector. SOLUTION: The liquid level detector comprises a bearing member provided in a body frame; a holder rotatably supported by the bearing member; a float arm that is mounted to the holder and has a float that follows the displacement of a liquid level; a magnet that is arranged in the holder and is rotated following the operation of the float; and a detection element for detecting a change in magnetism following the rotation of the magnet. The detection element is arranged at one portion of the bearing member provided at the body frame, and the magnet is arranged opposingly at the outer-periphery section of the bearing member.
