PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator into which the quantity of heat required for thawing into drain water is stably supplied, which is easy of mounting work, and which prevents the freezing of the drain water with inexpensive and less power. SOLUTION: The refrigerator comprises a cooler for producing cold air to cool the refrigerator, a defrosting heater for heating the cooler to remove frost deposited on the cooler, a drip tray for receiving the drain water produced by thawing the frost, a drain pipe for discharging the drain water received by the drip tray to the outside of the refrigerator, and a resistance heater mounted contacting the drain pipe with a heat conductive winding member and inserted into a coating member.
