PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely prevent blow-by gas from a collection pipe 19 collecting separated oil from reversely flowing in a filter chamber 2 side in an internal combustion engine provided with a filter chamber 2 separating oil from blow-bay gas. SOLUTION: This engine is provided with the filter chamber 2 separating oil from blow-by gas, the oil collection pipe 19 collecting oil separated from blow-by gas in the filter chamber 2, and an oil reservoir 16 provided on a side wall in an inner side of a chain case 34 and connected to a downstream side of the oil collection pipe 19. The engine is constructed to return oil separated from the filter chamber 2 to an oil pan after introduced to the oil reservoir 16 from the oil collection pipe 19. The oil reservoir 16 is provided with an open part 17 at an upper part and a leading rib 21 leading oil adhering on the inner wall surface 35 to the open part 17 is formed on the inner wall surface 35 of the chain case 34.
