PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydrolyzed collagen composition, excellent in collagen-regenerating performance, and contributing to cosmetic and health as a cosmetic, skin lotion and health food. SOLUTION: This collagen composition is produced by washing a raw materials selected from fish scales, skin and bones with water, drying and crushing, and as the processes after these, passing through processes of immersing the materials in liquid obtained by dissolving 1 kind selected from sodium dodecyl sulfate, a guanidine salt or urea, or irradiating an ultrasonic wave by immersing the material in water, then extracting the hydrolyzed collagen by heating at a temperature of 110-150°C, filtering with cheesecloth, dehydrating by centrifuging and gel filtration.
