PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermoplastic resin composition giving a molded article of a biodegradable polylactic acid resin having excellent abrasion resistance and durable in a high-temperature environment in high production efficiency while improving the problems of polylactic acid resin such as the improvement of molding cycle and heat-resistance. SOLUTION: The thermoplastic resin composition contains (a1) a polylactic acid resin and/or (a2) an aliphatic ester-polylactic acid resin copolymer having an aliphatic polyester copolymer block and obtained by the polycondensation reaction of an aliphatic diol and an aliphatic dicarboxylic acid and (B) a clay mineral containing magnesium atom and having Mohs hardness of 2-7 (e.g. a material harder than talc and softer than boron nitride).
