PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paste for the production of formed inorganic material free from the defects of carbonized residues, voids, pinholes, etc., and provide a plasma display panel produced by using the paste. SOLUTION: The paste contains inorganic powder, a binder resin and a solvent. The binder resin contains a structural unit expressed by formula (1) (R is a substituent having an alicyclic structure) at a ratio of≥90 mol% based on the total structural units.
