PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new compound which can be used as a hole transport or hole injection material for organic electroluminescent elements, electrophotographic photoreceptors, and the like, and to provide a method for producing the same. SOLUTION: An amine compound represented by general formula (1) [R<SP>1</SP>and R<SP>2</SP>are each independently H, a straight chain, branched or cyclic alkyl or alkoxy, an aryl, an aryloxy, or a halogen atom; Ar<SP>1</SP>and Ar<SP>2</SP>are each independently a substituted or non-substituted aryl or heteroaryl, and may form a nitrogen-containing heterocyclic ring together with the bound nitrogen atom; Ar<SP>3</SP>groups are each independently a substituted or non-substituted phenyl, naphthyl, biphenyl, terphenyl, anthryl, fluorenyl, or pyridyl (excluding amino-substituted groups); M is a single bond, an arylene, or a heteroarylene].
