PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a man conveyor remote monitoring system capable of surely communicating between a monitoring device and a monitoring center by radio transmission, even if sensitivity of transmission-reception of a radio wave is not good in a place for arranging the monitoring device of a man conveyor. SOLUTION: A control board 15 for controlling operation of an escalator 1 is arranged in an upper machine room 6, and an operation state of the escalator 1 is monitored on the basis of operation data of the escalator control board 15, and the monitoring device 16 for transmitting and receiving monitoring information to the monitoring center 20 is arranged in the upper machine room 6. An antenna 17 is separated from the monitoring device 16, and is built in a boot 18. The antenna 17 is also connected to the monitoring device 16 via wiring 19. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
