PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chill roller cleaning device which can reduce an operating burden on the part of an operator and prevent damage from being inflicted to the machine side. SOLUTION: This chill roller cleaning device comprises a drying device 3 for drying a printed web 6, a cooling device 4 equipped with chill rollers 10 to 13 for cooling the web 6 dried by the drying device 3, and a cleaning device 24 with a cleaning roller 25 which is detachably installed in the peripheral surface of the chill roller 12 and cleans the peripheral surface of the chill roller 12 by bringing the cleaning roller 25 into contact with the chill roller 12. In addition, the cleaning device is equipped with one shaft member 46 for retaining one shaft part 44 of a cleaning roller 24 and the other shaft member 47 for retaining the other shaft part 45 of the cleaning roller 24. The shaft member 47 is movably supported between a retention position (I) which retains a cleaning roller 25 and a retreat position (II) which is not in the way for the cleaning roller 24 to retreat from the retention position (I) and move in the axial direction.
