PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a box type game machine where a harness is never shut in a gap formed between a front door and a casing. SOLUTION: In the slot machine being one example of the box type game machine, the front door 10 is fitted to the casing 50 having open front side through hinges 31 and 32 in an openable and closable manner, and electric parts provided respectively at the front door 10 and the casing 50 are connected with each other through the harness H. A cover part 70 covering the gap 34 formed between the casing 50 on a side where the hinges 31 and 32 are provided and the end of the front door 10 from inside when the front door 10 is opened from the casing is provided at the left side plate 50a of the casing 50. The cover part 70 has a plate-like member 71 having a base part side fitted turnably to the inner surface of the left side plate 50a and a twisted coil spring 77 biasing this to the side of the gap 34.
