摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical information recording medium which suppresses cross-erasures and is suitable for recording and reproducing high density information and to provide an optical information recording medium which ensures a high erasure rate, even in high density and high linear velocity overwriting and can record and reproduce information with small jitters. <P>SOLUTION: The optical information recording medium includes a transparent substrate (31) and a multilayered film (32-36) formed on the transparent substrate (31). The multilayered film (32-36) comprises a lower protective layer (32), a recording layer (33) reversibly changing between different two states which can be optically detected by irradiation with a light beam, an upper protective layer (34), a light absorption layer (35) and a reflection layer (36) sequentially from a side near the transparent substrate (31). The difference &Delta;n=n<SB>1</SB>-n<SB>2</SB>between a refractive index n<SB>1</SB>of the light absorption layer (35) and a refractive index n<SB>2</SB>of the reflection layer (36) is 2 to 6 and the film thickness of the reflection layer (36) is larger than that of the light absorption layer (35). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
