<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steel sheet for a cathode-ray tube band in which high strength and high magnetic permeability are combined and further strength in a tightly bent part is secured while obviating the necessity of the addition of Si in large quantities and also the addition of Ti etc. as precipitation strengthening elements. <P>SOLUTION: The steel sheet has a chemical composition consisting of, by mass, 0.001 to 0.01% C, 0.5 to 1.0% Si, 1.0 to 2.0% Mn,≤0.15% P, 0.0001 to 0.0025% B, 0.01 to 0.05% Al,≤0.004% N and the balance essentially Fe and also has 10 to 100μm ferrite grain size,≥300 N/mm<SP>2</SP>yield stress and≥400 relative permeabilityμ<SB>0.35</SB>. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
