<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect the malfunction of a selector valve for selecting a passage for exhaust gas. <P>SOLUTION: An ECU executes a program which includes a step (S1100) of comparing the detected temperature of exhaust gas with a map value when controlling the selector valve to be closed (YES in S1000), a step (S1300) of determining the selector valve to be normal when the temperature of the exhaust gas is higher than the map value (YES in S1100), and a step (S1400) of determining the selector valve to be abnormal when the temperature of the exhaust gas is lower than the map value (NO in S1100). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
