PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a ferrite winding high frequency transformer employing a spectacle core of an impedance transformer or a distribution transformer, each employed in a broadcast signal distributor in which the impedance is increased from the low frequency region and decreased in the high frequency region without varying the overall length of the winding. SOLUTION: In the high frequency transformer comprising windings 16 and 17 inserted from one surface 15 of a core 12 having two through holes 13 and 14 and wound by one or a plurality of turns between the two through holes 13 and 14, a ferrite cap 20 is provided to cover the exposed portion of the windings 16 and 17 turning up between the two through holes 13 and 14 on the other side 18 of the core 12. Consequently, the impedance is increased from the low frequency region and decreased in the high frequency region without varying the overall length of the windings 16 and 17 and loss of the high frequency transformer itself is reduced.
