PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a track device with a horizontal adjusting function and a ladder device with a carriage by which a lateral movement and work over a wide range can be carried out while staying on the ladder. SOLUTION: The track device with the horizontal adjusting function and the ladder device with the carriage are built up at a needed interval from a wall surface. Consequently, even when the working position is moved little by little while staying on the ladder, a worker can move by pushing the wall surface with the hands while staying on the ladder. In a structure where two ladders are used, a scaffold board is mounted on the upper part of the ladders to cover a wide range of work at one movement. The track device and the ladder device facilitate on/off operation of a brake fitted to the carriage while staying at the upper part of the ladder, and facilitate the work on the wall surface.
