摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cause pixels to display prescribed gray-scale levels with high precision, even when gray-scale levels of respective pixels connected to a plurality of data lines corresponding to a common image signal line are different from one another. SOLUTION: A plurality of data lines 13 are divided into groups G by every prescribed number. An electro-optical panel 10 has a plurality of image signal lines 53 each of which corresponds to different groups G and switching elements 151 interposed between each data line 13 and image signal line 53. A scanning line driving circuit 20 selects each of a plurality of scanning lines 12 for each selection period. A control circuit 31 sequentially switches each of the switching elements 151 corresponding to each group G to the conductive states for each data output period in the selection period. A voltage output circuit 41 applies a voltage according to a gray-scale level of each pixel to each image signal line 53 corresponding to each group G in data output period in which each switching element 151 corresponding to the group G becomes a conductive state and applies a prescribed voltage to each image signal line in a period after the last data output period lapses.
