PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide simple and inexpensive door opening/closing equipment which makes a force for the initial motion of the opening/closing of a door small, which brings about a constant opening/closing speed of the door after opening/closing, and which enables the door to be stably stopped in an arbitrary position. SOLUTION: Characteristically, this door opening/closing equipment 1 is equipped with a hanger 3 for holding the door 2 in the state of hanging the door 2 on the side of one end, a rotor 4 around which the hanger 3 is to be wound, and a balance weight 5 which is attached on the side of the other end of the hanger 3; and the balance weight 5 is provided with an auxiliary weight 6 which makes a hanging load variable. Desirably, the auxiliary weight 6 is a freely deformable cord body or net body, whose weight per unit length is equal to that of the hanger 3. A ring chain can be exemplified as the cord body.
