<p>The invention concerns a method for casting PMMA plates with enhanced shockproofness comprising the following steps: 1) heating a mixture including: at least one alkoxyamine Z (-T)n wherein Z represents a multivalent group and n an integer greater than 2, preferably between 2 and 10, advantageously between 2 and 8 and the monomer(s) designed to form a central sequence B to a temperature sufficient for activating alkoxyamine and polymerizing the monomer(s); 2) reactivating the central sequence B optionally mixed with the non-consumed monomer(s) of step 1) in the presence of the monomer(s) designed to form the branches A; 3) adding MAM to the mixture obtained at step 2) and optionally at least one comonomer M capable of free radical copolymerization with the MMA and at least one free radical initiator; 4) casting the mixture obtained at step 3) in a mould, followed by heating.</p>
