<p>The water meter has a water-prominent pipe connection housing (20), which can be attached to a discharge channel (22) via an adapter opening (25). The discharge channel is removable in the pipe connection housing (20). A moving section (41), in and out of the discharge channel (22) has a counter (43) with a measuring part (40), which is functionally connected with the moving section and indicates the quantity of water flowing in the discharge channel during a given length of time over the moving section. Around the opening (25) and around the pipe connection housing (20) an integrated access pit (30) is provided over which the measuring part (40) can be accessed. The access pit forms a manageable functional unit. A measuring extension (50) is provided on an interior and lengthwise of the pipe and in the access pit. The measuring part has a mounting plate (44), which is arranged in the opening of the pipe connection housing and sealed on the opening with a surrounding mounting surface. The access pit (30) is a pipe. The access pit is bolted with the pipe connection housing.</p> |
