The tester has a dual color LED display (1) which glows in one color and then flashes for a short time to another color, for indicating the correct connection of the wires, and the transmission of data packets. The display glows in the latter color alone to indicate incorrect installation and the interchange of wires. The display does not glow when the wires are interchanged or mingled.
