A canister for a vehicle has a partition dividing an inner space of the canister into first and second spaces; first activated charcoal packed in the second space near a vent-hole; second activated charcoal packed in the first space and a residual space of the second space; and a diffuser installed in between the first and second charcoals for evenly dispersing the flow of gas into the first and second charcoals. A canister (1) for a vehicle comprises a partition (9) dividing an inner space of the canister into a first space (11) communicating with a fuel vapor inlet (3) and a purge outlet (5), and a second space (13) communicating with a vent-hole (7); a first activated charcoal (15) packed in the second space near the vent-hole; a second activated charcoal (17) packed in the first space and a residual space of the second space after packaging the second space with the first activated charcoal; and a diffuser (21) installed in between the first activated charcoal and the second activated charcoal for evenly dispersing the flow of gas into the first activated charcoal and the second activated charcoal.
