The use of an estrogen and a compound of formula (I) or (II) in the preparation of a medicament for treating or preventing cardiovascular disease, diseases in a mammal which result in proliferation or abnormal development, actions or growth of endometrial or endometrial-like tissue, or disease states or syndromes which are caused or associated with an estrogen deficiency.
