<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of preventing the leakage of information by invalidating the image remaining on the image carrier. <P>SOLUTION: In the image forming apparatus, the image is formed on paper by a primary transfer process for transferring a multicolor toner image to a transfer belt 31 by photoreceptor drums 21a to 21d corresponding to respective colors, and a secondary transfer process for transferring the multicolor toner image on the belt 31 to the paper press-contacted by a transfer belt driving roller 32 and a transfer roller 36, the toner image remaining after the secondary transfer process is invalidated, by installing an invalidating unit 110 having a brush roller 111 at the the post-stage of the secondary transfer process. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
