PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a silver halide photographic sensitive material excellent in sensitivity and graininess, and ensuring small static fog and small radiation fog. SOLUTION: The silver halide color photographic sensitive material has on a support at least one each of blue-, green- and red-sensitive layers and at least one non-photosensitive layer, wherein at least one of the layers contains the following compound (A) or compound (B) and a spectral sensitivity distribution S<SB>B</SB>(λ) of the blue-sensitive layer satisfies a relationship of the expression (1): S<SB>B</SB>(370 nm)/S<SB>B</SB>(420 nm)<0.7. Compound (A): a heterocyclic compound which has one or two hetero atoms and substantially increases the sensitivity of the silver halide photographic sensitive material when added. Compound (B): a heterocyclic compound which has≥3 hetero atoms, substantially increases the sensitivity of the silver halide photographic sensitive material when added, and does not react with an oxidized developing agent.
