PLASMA DISPLAY APPARATUS AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plasma display apparatus in which the sound and erroneous discharge of a panel body in a reduced pressure area are reduced and display quality therefor can be assured to an area of as high an altitude as possible. SOLUTION: The plasma display apparatus has: the panel body in which a pair of substrates of which at least the front side is transparent are disposed opposite to each other so as to form a discharge space between the substrates and which has a plurality of discharge cells; a chassis member 14 holding the panel body on the front side via an adhesive material 17 and mounted with a block for driving on the rear side; and a housing mounted at the chassis member 14 and to be mounted with a support member for supporting the entire part of the apparatus, wherein the adhesive material 17 disposed in a position opposite to the housing is separated from the adhesive material 17 disposed in another portion.
