<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image scanner for double-side reading capable of forming an image with high quality without distortion by eliminating carrying load variations in a reading section due to the effect of a carrying system even in the case of an original reading apparatus for reading double side images by one paper carrying. <P>SOLUTION: The image scanner 1 is provided with two read means 13, 16 capable of reading double sides and located along an original carrying path 5, and a plurality of carrying means are classified into a first carrying system A at the uptream side of the first read means 13 and a second carrying system B located before and behind the first and second read means 13, 16, the first and second carrying systems A, B are characterized in such that they are driven by first and second drive transmission means A1, B1 in a series and the first and second drive delivery means A1, B1 are configured to be driven shared from an output shaft 22a of one motor 22. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
