<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonradioactive dielectric line in which transmission loss of a high-frequency signal is small and a transmission characteristic is stable, and a manufacturing method thereof. <P>SOLUTION: In the non-radioactive dielectric line, a dielectric line 3 for transmitting a high-frequency signal is arranged between planar conductors 1, 2 arranged with an interval not more than half of the wavelength of the high-frequency signal, a metallic sheet 4 is provided between the inner surface of one planar conductor 2 and the dielectric line 3, and the dielectric line 3 is embedded in the metallic sheet 4.
