<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a virtual patient system capable of appropriately selecting and providing a large amount of medical treatment information stored in a plurality of databases. <P>SOLUTION: In the virtual patient system, a plurality of information terminals 11 and 12 are connected to a plurality of databases 4, 5 and 6, in which medical information is stored, through electric communication lines 2 and 3. In this case, patient specification information, the segment of a user who uses medical information, the image diagnosis of cancer as a use scene where a user uses the medical treatment information and one of a plurality of processes including a process to pathologically decide malignancy, a process to decide a medical treatment technique and a process to decide medical treatment effects are received from the information terminals, and the classification of the medical treatment information is specified from the received segment of the user and the process, and a retrieval request including the specified classification of the medical treatment information and the patient specification information is transmitted to the database, and the medical treatment information supplied from the database is provided to the information terminal in response to the retrieval request. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
