<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and device for a buffer sharing with other devices that can expand a frame buffer memory, without replacing devices. <P>SOLUTION: The buffer-sharing device is equipped with a reception part 2 which receives a frame; a frame buffer 1 which temporarily stores the frame; a buffer pointer managing part 3 which manages the pointer of the frame buffer 3 stored with the frame; a protocol processing part 4 which finds the transmission destination of the frame from the frame header, a QoS scheduler part 5, having the queuing function of performing priority control to the protocol processing part 4 and a transmission part 6, the transmission part 6 which transmits the frame; an address table 7 which is connected to the protocol processing part 4 and stores a frame evasion table; and a frame avoidance managing part 8 which performs on/off-control over a table rewriting mode with respect to the protocol processing part 4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
