PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that components of a high-frequency heating device are damaged by abnormal temperature rise caused by an erroneous operation of a microcomputer, and food is overheated. SOLUTION: In case the microcomputer 4 is erroneously operated to continuously supply power to a coil part 103 due to a serial connection of a PTC element 104 with a coil part of a relay 101, the PTC element 104 also continues heat radiation and power supply to the coil part 103 is cut when the temperature reaches a trip point. The temperature of the PTC element 104 interrupting power supply becomes lower, and the power supply to the coil part 103 is re-started when it reaches a restoration temperature, so that the food can be intermittently heated without depending on the control of the microcomputer, the damage inflicted on the components of the high-frequency heating device can be reduced, and overheat of the food can also be prevented.
