PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet processing device, in which a sticker is disposed on an edge of a booklet or a folded sheet. SOLUTION: A pair of rollers 20 and 22 are provided to form a main nip 24. The rollers 20 and 22 can be actuated in such a way that a sheet S is moved through the main nip 24 in a processing direction and in the opposite direction to the processing direction. A sticker applicator 30 is disposed to be actuated upstream of the main nip 24 along the processing direction. A control system is provided to operate the rollers 20 and 22 and the main nip in such a way that the rollers 20 and 22 move the sheet S in the opposite direction to receive the sticker ST from the sticker applicator 30, and then move the sheet S through the main nip 24 in the processing direction.
