PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus, small-sized, easily manufactured and stably obtaining an effective signal. SOLUTION: This ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus includes a motor 47 and a speed reducer 35 of the motor 47 which are provided on the tip 4 introduced into the body cavity. The output stage of the speed reducer 35 is fixed to one end of a rotating shaft 13. The other end of the rotating shaft 13 is fixed to a vibrator holding member 11 holding an ultrasonic vibrator 3. Further, slip rings 24, 25, 26 of a signal transmitting part 30 and a magnetic drum 37b of a detecting part 38 for detecting the rotating position are mounted on the rotating shaft 13.
