PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the generation of uneven inner stress and, further, the occurrence of nicks when forming an optical element such as lens through the die-forming of glass and, at the same time, manufacturing a formed optical component with holder by pressing the optical element against a holder. SOLUTION: In the formed optical component, a planar part which surrounds an effective part having an optical function of the optical element and is extruded from the effective part to the outer side is disposed on the fixed optical element. Further, a through-hole of the holder has a cylinder part of the invariable cross-section shape at least longer than the thickness of the planar part of the optical element and the outer periphery of the planar part of the optical element is allowed to tightly contact with the inner peripheral surface of the part of the invariable cross-section shape of the through-hole of the holder over the whole periphery.
