PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce increase of product scale for tracking in a GPS receiver carrying out synchronous acquisition of GPS satellites by a software correlation. SOLUTION: The GPS receiver 1 is provided with a CPU 202 carrying out the synchronous acquisition of GPS satellites by a software correlation, and a hardware correlation part 302 comprising a plurality of hardware correlators carrying out correlation processing for tracking the GPS satellites synchronously acquired by the CPU 202.
