PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a satellite, a manipulator device capable of surely capturing and gripping a gripping object; and a satellite control method. SOLUTION: When a gripper 202 provided on the tip of an arm 201 of a service satellite 200 contacts with a gripping object part 101 of a rescue satellite 100, an orbit for moving the arm 201 is corrected on the basis of contact force R of the gripper 202 and the gripping object part 101, and the gripper 202 is moved in the orbit becoming familiar with the gripping object part 101 from the front.
