PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flux-cored wire for gas shielded arc welding which is excellent in wire feedability, less in tip wear, stable in arc, less in amount of fume and spatter generation, and excellent in welding workability. SOLUTION: In the flux-cored wire for gas shielded arc welding with flux filled in a steel-made shell, the steel-made shell contains, by mass,≤0.03% C, 0.15-0.60% Mn, and 0.02-0.06% Al, and the balance Fe with inevitable impurities. The wire has lubricant of 0.8-2.5 g in total, which contains 0.003-0.55 g molybdenum disulfide and 0.008-0.13 g phosphatide and the balance lubricating oil, per 10 kg of a wire on a surface of the wire.
