FIELD: pulse engineering. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed device that can be used for electronic switching of high-inductance dc circuits without breaking the contacts has dc voltage supply, load, diode, and first thyristor; newly introduced in device are two inductively-coupled coils, second thyristor, two similar capacitors, two ballast resistors, and additional dc voltage supply, all inserted in series between cathode of first thyristor and minus lead of dc voltage supply. ^ EFFECT: reduced size and enhanced operating reliability of device. ^ 1 cl, 2 dwg |
