The invention relates to an articulated arm for awnings. The invention comprises an arm (1) and a forearm (2) which are articulated to one another by means of respective articulation means (4, 5) at adjacent ends. The articulation means (5) at the end of the forearm (2) comprises a core (8) having an outer surface which surrounds a shaft (9), while the articulation means (4) at the end of the arm (1) comprises a wall (10) which surrounds the core (8). According to the invention, bearing means are disposed between the core (8) and the wall (10) in order to guide the relative rotation therebetween. Moreover, a flexible guy element (7) is provided inside the arm (1), said guy element comprising: a first end which is connected to an elastic element which is anchored to a fixed point on the arm (1), and a second end (7b) which is anchored to the core (8). Said guy element (7) passes through an opening (20) in the articulation means (4) and is partially housed in a space between the core (8) and the wall (10). |
