Purpose: the invention relates mainly for use in house hold sewing machines. Summary of the invention: balance pivot of a frame with needle bar unit and a spherical bushing for reciprocal motion are mounted on an upper shelf which is stationary. A lower shelf is removable in the form of a detachable bearing attached thereto a spherical bushing and affixed to a body frame designed as a plate as a single unit with a rocking lever. An upper thread tension regulator is mounted on an additional support provided for the frame balance pivot.
