Isoforms of receptor tyrosine kinases, including intron fusion proteins and pharmaceutical compositions containing receptor tyrosine kinase isoforms, including intron fusion proteins, are provided herein. Methods of identifyin g and preparing isoforms of cell surface receptors including receptor tyrosine kinases are provided. Also provided are methods of treatment with cell surfa ce receptor isoforms including intron fusion proteins of receptor tyrosine kinases.
