<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem wherein an input device of a relative coordinate mode and an input device of an absolute coordinate mode can not be used at the same time, and, in particular, character input or the like can not correctly be carried out. <P>SOLUTION: A pad type first controller 2 and a stick type second controller 3 are installed in a notebook computer. Both the absolute coordinate data and the relative coordinate data are outputted from the first controller 2, and only the relative coordinate data are outputted from the second controller 3. When the absolute coordinate data are outputted, the format of the relative coordinate data is converted into a format same as that of the absolute coordinate data, and identification information capable of being identified as the absolute coordinate data is outputted in a part of the format of the relative coordinate data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
