PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a far-infrared emitter in which fine particles radiating far-infrared rays bound on a resin substrate can keep far-infrared ray-radiating function without impairing the far-infrared rays-radiating function even when the fine particles is used for a long period on the resin substrate. SOLUTION: The far-infrared emitter is obtained by binding fine particles radiating far-infrared rays onto a substrate by chemical bond of a silane compound to the substrate surface. The chemical bond of the silane compound to the substrate surface is preferably formed by graft polymerization and the graft polymerization is preferably radioactive graft polymerization.
