IMAGE DISTRIBUTION METHOD AND IMAGE DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image distribution method and an image distribution system effective to various utilization forms such as presentation, education, and lecture or the like from a remote place.

SOLUTION: The image distribution system is constituted of a distributor side and a reception side. The distributor side includes: a copying means for consecutively copying image information stored in a display memory in a distributor to a frame buffer; a compression means for applying moving picture compression processing to the image information copied in the frame buffer; and a distribution means for distributing the image information subjected to the moving picture compression processing. The reception side includes: a reception means for receiving the image information subjected to the moving picture compression processing; a reproduction means for reproducing the received image information; and a write means for writing the image information to a display memory in a reception side unit.
