PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems that controlling a distance between two poles of metal electrodes is difficult or requires a complex configuration in an ignition method using electric spark, and that, even if the distance of the two poles of the metal electrodes are properly adjusted, soot after ignition sparks and combustion residuals generated at the time of ignition of the fuse tube are adhered to the electrodes after repeated ignitions and therefore explosive or reactive materials disposed in the fuse tube can not be ignited although the sparks come off. SOLUTION: The ignition method for an ignition tube with a detonator in which the explosive or other reactive materials are covered, has a charging/discharging means that discharges at a desired time after charging a predetermined voltage in a capacitor, a power receiving means that receives the discharged voltage, and a spark generating means that comprises two metal wires, at least one of which is electrically insulated except its front end, electrically connected to the power receiving means and generates sparks from the front ends of the two metal wires by the voltage received from the charging/discharging means. The explosive is ignited by inserting the spark generating means into the tube. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
