摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To raise the visibility of moving pictures while obtaining the uniformity of display quality level in a screen by suppressing crosstalk. SOLUTION: The driving circuit part of an electro-optical device divides data of one frame into a plurality of data corresponding to a plurality of fields. The data of two continuous fields is alternately written in every one horizontal period while changing the start time of writing of each field within one vertical period. At this time, one of data of the two continuous fields is made image data and the other is made black display data. Then, the polarity of data signal is inverted in fields against predetermined electric potential between the continuous fields while changing the start time of the writing of each field within one vertical period. As a result, the image display region and the black display region are simultaneously formed and then a pseudo impulse-type display can be performed. Further, the occurrence of disclination can be avoided because the pseudo field-inversion driving is performed in every region.
