PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exposure apparatus which more accurately carries out exposure near the top end of recording paper even when the recording paper has high tendency of curling in an exposure apparatus which is equipped with an exposure head to expose recording paper to transfer images arranged in the main scanning direction and a carrying mechanism to carry the recording paper in the sub scanning direction, the carrying mechanism having a first pair of rollers located in the upstream side of the exposure head, a second pair of rollers located in the downstream side of the exposure head and a driving mechanism to rotate and drive the roller pairs, and provided with a guide member to support the recording paper through the back face between the first roller pair and the second roller pair. SOLUTION: The tangent line formed by the first pair of rollers 21a,22a is tilted with respect to the sub scanning direction so as to press the recording paper P fed by the first roller pair toward the guide member 23a. The axis 40L of the exposure light running from the exposure head 40 is offset from the center between the first roller pair and the second roller pair toward the first roller pair.
