PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a measuring method and a measuring device which simultaneously measures with high sensitivity the flow concentration and a concentration distribution without having influence on the flow of a free flow, concerning the concentration and measurement of the free flow wherein, for an example, aerosol is blown out at high speed from a nozzle to a space, and also to provide a composite structure manufacturing device utilizing the measuring device. SOLUTION: Laser 6 is floodlighted from a laser floodlighting part 2 to the aerosol 5. Then, light diffracted or scattered by laser floodlighting is received by a camera 4. Then, the aerosol concentration is measured by a brightness image of the received light. Since it is known that the brightness of the diffracted or scattered light is proportional to the particle concentration if the particle size distribution is constant, the particle concentration can be measured from the brightness of the diffracted or scattered light. Hereby, aerosol concentration measurement is performed without having influence on the flow of the aerosol free flow flowing in the space. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
