摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an input device which can improve detection precision by suppressing a leak current from each sensor cell. SOLUTION: Fingerprint information from each of a plurality of capacitance detection means 31 arranged in a matrix is read by a sense amplifier 40, in which only the selected capacitance detection means 31 is connected to the sense amplifier 40 by providing a scanning signal at a high electric potential VDD from a scan line 36 and by providing a selection signal from a data selection line 38. The other capacitance detection means 31 that are not selected are separated from the sense amplifier 40. The leak current is prevented from flowing from the capacitance detection means 31 in the non-selected state into the sense amplifier 40, and the influence by the leak current is effectively reduced, in terms of the current value read out by the sense amplifier 40.
